The Royal Shakespeare Company’s (RSC) stage musical adaptation of the much-loved novel by best-selling author Roald Dahl, Matilda, will play at the Lyric Theatre from August 2015.

Destination Europe to get boosted by Amadeus app

The travel software giant, Amadeus, is to develop a mobile application to help promote Europe as a tourism destination.

The VisitEurope mobile app is part of the ‘Destination Europe 2020′ cooperative attemptbetween the European Travel Commission and the European Commission aimed at boosting the image of the continent in long-haul markets.

Mount Etna erupts in Sicily, no casualties

SICILY: Mount Etna, Europe’s most active volcano, which had its last major eruption in 1992, has erupted again, lighting up the sky over much of eastern Sicily and shooting up a towering column of ash into the sky.

Sydney to host the Australian Youth Tourism Exchange (AYTE) in 2014

It is the first time ATEC has partnered with a state tourism organisation on the event in its entirety.
