The Convention Centre Dublin Secured ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Accreditation

The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD) announced that it has secured accreditation in International Organization of Standardization (ISO) 9001 – Quality Management System and ISO 14001 – Environmental Management System. The implementation of these ISO standards throughout The CCD will help to maintain delivery efficiencies and ensure continual improvement. To retain ISO certification, The CCD will be audited on a regular basis.

TCEB launches 'Believe in Thailand – Thailand: Destination of 'CHOICES' at EIBTM 2011

Thailand is already beginning to recover from the recent floods that have impacted the country’s MICE industry. In order to ensure a strong and speedy recovery, the government is working closely with the private sector in implementing a cleanup plan, and aims to regain international confidence through TCEB’s market promotion campaign Believe in Thailand – Thailand: Destination of “CHOICES”. These measures are expected to see Thailand back on track before the third quarter of 2012.




Tourism Australia lays out welcome mat for the Red Army

Tourism Australia Managing Director Andrew McEvoy has welcomed the announcement by the British and Irish Lions confirming their nine-match schedule for their 2013 tour of Australia to be played in six cities across the nation.

Tourism Australia will work in partnership with official tour operator, Lions Rugby Travel, on a series of joint activities to promote the major sporting event and Australia as a destination in the run up to the June/July 2013 tour.

Intense fog cancels and delays about 656 flights this weekend in Urumqi, NW China
