MTA: Fastrack comes to the F line

On Monday, February 24, for the first time, MTA New York City Transit brings FASTRACK to the {F} line in Lower Manhattan. For four consecutive weeknights from Monday, February 24, to early Friday morning, February 28, {F} trains will not stop at B’way-Lafayette St, 2 Av, Delancey St, East Broadway, and York St. F Subway Line Icon trains are rerouted via the A Subway Line Icon line in both directions between W 4 St and Jay St-MetroTech.

Routine Construction Suspended at MTA Crossings for Thanksgiving Holiday

To ease travel for its customers this Thanksgiving, routine maintenance and temporary construction work at all MTA Bridges and Tunnels crossings will be suspended beginning Noon on Wed., Nov.27th through early Monday morning, Dec. 2nd.

After volcanic eruptions Kamchatka witnesses quake

A seismic station based at Petropavlovsk said that tremors measuring almost 3-4 on the Richter scale were felt in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the main city on the Kamchatka peninsula and home to a nuclear submarine base, but there were no reports of casualties or significant damage.
